In a developer announcement dated August 4, 2026, Mike and GDeavid described the game as designed for playing with friends and endorsed a dedicated Machine Party LFG Discord for finding players.

Matchmaking status

That same August 4 announcement stated that there was no in-game public matchmaking or lobby browser at that time. Future changes are Pending confirmation.
